Faizan Syed is a nationally recognized Muslim civil rights leader, community organizer, and the visionary founder of Inspiring Young Leaders (IYL)—a transformative initiative aimed at training the next generation of American Muslim leaders.

With over a decade of experience in advocacy, nonprofit leadership, and public engagement, Faizan has spent his life empowering others to speak with courage, lead with sincerity, and serve with purpose. Through his work with major national organizations and grassroots campaigns alike, he has mobilized thousands of youth across the country to become changemakers in their communities.

Grounded in the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Faizan believes in leadership as a sacred trust. His passion for mentorship, civic education, and faith-driven activism has shaped IYL into a powerful platform where students explore identity, develop practical leadership skills, and build lifelong networks rooted in service and sincerity.
